In our public area at the Meerburg Apotheek (Crooswijkseweg 65, Rotterdam) you
will find a lot of written information about several subjects in health,
illnesses and healthcare. If you want information about a specific
subject please ask us or send
us an E-mail.
But we provide you with more than just written information. Within
our team most of the staff is specialized in certain area of healthcare,
so they can inform you in most of the cases. Through continuous
further training we keep our knowledge up to date.
Our employees can help you with most of your questions but if you
prefer to talk to one of the pharmacists you can always make an
appointment.

Meerburg Apotheek gives you free of chargeprofessional advice based on the latest recommendations or obligatory
vaccinations by WHO and healthcare organizations.
People who are planning a pilgrimage (e.g. Hadj to Mecca) we can
inform about the obligatory vaccinations.
If you travel to other countries a list of all your prescribed
medicines, including generic names will be very convenient to you in
case you lose your medicines or have difficulties crossing borders. Just
ask for it and we can make a print of your medication history from our
database.
For a good advice and reliable products you can come to the pharmacy,
that's a fact. Especially for some common ailments, like pain, common
cold, flu, itching, diarrhoea or nausea, for which you don't consult immediately
a doctor. If you come to us we can advise you, and if you want we will check
with your other medication for incompatibilities. Our advice is based on
our knowledge and on standards of treating. Sometimes we will advise you
not to buy any medicine but to consult a doctor (GP), for instance when
your problems last longer then usual. Naturally our advice is free
of charge.
